I have been a huge fan on Mary Calmes not for a while. I started with Jory and Sam and fell in love with them and then moved to Duncan and Aaron. When I came across this series I wasn't sure how I was going to like it but the fact that she was able to characterize them so well and with plenty of details was amazing. The story itself is great, there are so many things that they learn from each other in the series and I like that it was not rushed and not to slow either. I would recommend this book to many and have done so already.Product details

The Change of Heart stories are wonderful. I bought them all within days and finished them. I was obsessed. It reminded me of Laurell K. Hsmilton's Anita Blake novels before they devolved to extended sex scenes. These books tell a story and I loved them. Also I am reminded of the struggle of Vanyel from Mercedes Lavkey's Last Herald Mage series which was one of the first m/m series I read.
I will definitely buy any future books in this wonderful world Mary Calmes has created. I love the first person point of view.
A severe test for Jin and Logan's relationship and a deeper look into the world of the werepanthers. Enjoyable world building and loved the tapestry of characters.
This is the second in a series that started with Change of Heart(loved it too). This is different take on the usual shapeshifter genre that I really enjoyed. Jin and Logan are a very appealing couple and I got caught up with the action and had to keep reading and reading to find out what happened next. You just know that they will have many adventures and much love throughout the days of their lives and I want to read all about it. Looking forward to many more stories in the 'world' of Jin and Logan.
Aside from the repeating relationship problems it's pretty good. The plot is suspenseful and dark but there's always the hope of the light at the end of the tunnel. The only major problem I have is the two leads (whose names I can't remember off the top of my head ATT) keep falling into the same problems because they don't really learn from their mistakes. And these are pretty big issues.
Liked that there was a bit more action in this story. Plus it helped that Jin’s character is seeming to figure things out, therefore he not annoying me as much )
I'd like to say this book was worth waiting for, but I really hate waiting. I will say it was absolutely fantastic and please, please let there still be more to come! Sometimes authors go a little too far with sequels - having a couple break-up, cheat, or other storylines that ruins the happiness from the first book. Thankfully, Calmes gave the couple some challenges that made for an engrossing story but kept the romance and characters true to themselves. Happily, the rich mythology was also expanded upon. I fell in love with Jin and Logan in Change of Heart, and was delighted to be with them again.
I expected this book to switch to new characters, Koren and Domin perhaps, but it stayed with Jin and Logan. Trusted Bond picks up right where the last book left off. The men are about to embark on the trip to Cairo, but Jin is still struggling with doubts. He fears that Logan will tire of him, that the mating bond is just a mystical thing and that Logan doesn't love him for himself. Realistic doubts. When his life is put in danger from someone in his past, Jin will realize just how important that bond is to him.
Overall, this was a great sequel that I could not put down. I read it in one sitting. There was a lot of resolution, but also room for more. This could easily be a series, and I would be first in line for each and every installment.
I love this story. However, the structure of the dialog is right dreadful. It is hard to tell who is talking and hard to tell when it changes to someone else because there can be three different people talking in one paragraph with minimal to no signs of a speaker change. I would have given this five stars if not for that.
